Good morning! I am so excited for my first newsletter takeover by Annie Taylor, a friend and fellow art enthusiast fanatic who is also a trustee with me on the board of the Bronx Museum of the Arts. Below you can read about Annie’s latest project with GSH Contemporary and select featured artists in their exhibition SUTTON78. The show runs through September and is by appointment only, so please email me to set up a time for a walkthrough! anne@anneparkeartadvisory.com. Enjoy the rest of this morning read and as always let me know if you are interested in acquiring any of the works below.
SUTTON78 is GSH Contemporary’s inaugural exhibition, transforming the penthouse of Sutton Tower into a captivating intersection of art and architecture. Featuring a dynamic roster of internationally acclaimed artists, the exhibition creates an immersive dialogue between site-specific installations and the striking skyline views.
Leading the lineup is Kimsooja, a Seoul-based conceptual artist whose meditative installations explore themes of migration, cultural identity, and the interconnectedness of humanity. At SUTTON78, her work “To Breathe” transforms light, sound, and fabric into a contemplative, transcendent experience, enveloping viewers in an ethereal atmosphere that invites reflection and stillness.
