Good morning! I hope everyone’s August is off to an amazing start, and I look forward to seeing all of your travel content and adventures. This week’s newsletter packs a punch, with exciting contemporary artworks to buy, and I hope you save this email to read later while you’re on a flight or relaxing on a beach.

A gentle reminder that even when an artwork’s retail price is listed in GBP or euros, it does not automatically mean the artwork is located abroad. Often a gallery will work with an artist whose studio is in another country, so the works are priced in the artist’s local currency. It’s not always the case, but I do like to flag that for your consideration below.

I am VERY excited to announce that the 603 Arts Foundation is opening its inaugural exhibition this Saturday. I cannot wait to share more about its mission and inspiring work in a subsequent, dedicated newsletter issue for my paid subscribers.

The founders are two incredibly special collectors I have worked closely with over the past several years, helping them build a personal and now a private collection of contemporary art by emerging artists, with a particular focus on artists from Latin America and Asia. Some of the artists in their collections were discovered and acquired through this very newsletter!

Enjoy my weekly selections below and please consider becoming a paid subscriber to receive access to the 603 Arts Foundation available artworks!

We are so excited to announce our inaugural exhibition, The cataclysm of binary star systems, opening Saturday, August 8 at Nunu Fine Art. The show explores themes of identity, migration, and collective memory while asking what humanity would choose to carry into an uncertain future.

We are featuring 12 artists across nine different countries, including four artists who will present in the United States for the first time!

We look forward to seeing you on opening day! Stop by the gallery anytime between 11am and 6pm and say hello!
