Good morning! Yes, I have been checking forecasts diligently, and yes, the temperatures in Anchorage are warmer than in New York. Please be kind and still be impressed that I am going to Alaska to learn wild ice skating.

In honor of my upcoming travels, today’s newsletter features mostly artworks in crisp palettes, glacial tones, and quiet energy. As much as I love spending time inside art galleries, I equally enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking vistas that come with outdoor activities. I find both experiences can offer moments of peace and perspective, not to mention lower cortisol levels.

I know not everyone is a sculpture addict like I am, but I’m including two floral works at the beginning and end of this newsletter with two intentions:

(1) to help strengthen your resolve against winter adversities and

(2) to remind everyone that Anne Parke Birthday Week inception begins now

The APBDW™️ (first week of March) newsletter: birthday edition will feature works exclusively by artists in my personal collection. I promise it won’t be all sculptures.

As always, please reply with any interest on acquiring specific artworks and if you would like to see more examples by the artist. Enjoy this week’s selections and stay warm, healthy, and safe out there!
