Good morning and welcome to October! Today a new dealer-founded art fair opens on Madison Avenue: SPLIT LEVEL. Fifteen galleries will present 2-3 artists each, with a focus on emerging artists.

I am so pleased to offer paid subscribers my selections from some of the participating galleries’ previews. I think you will be as pleasantly surprised and delighted by the works below as I was.

There is a great article in White Hot Magazine covering the fair and its history, and I’m really excited for VIP Talks with Deanna Evans and Rebekah Chozick on Saturday! The perpetually inspiring artist Lara Saget will also be in talks with the gallery Good Naked, so definitely check out the fair if you can.
