Art for the Much Needed Long Weekend

Good morning and welcome to this week’s double feature! As I caught up on emails and exhibitions, there were just too many gems not to send out another edition of my newsletter. I’ve already featured several of these artists, which means you know they are favorites of mine.

One thing that stands out about the works in this newsletter is that they really need to be seen in person, especially those pieces by Chris Oh (thank you Silke for introducing me to this artist!), Nick Modrzewski and Christian Franzen. A quick reminder that galleries often switch to summer hours after the Fourth of July. Many galleries change from a Tuesday through Saturday schedule to a Monday through Friday one, often with shorter hours, so don’t trust Google when planning your gallery walk.
