Paintings for Your Pleasure
Packing a punch with a generous selection of exciting artists
Good morning! I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend and welcoming the fall equinox with chrysanthemums, pumpkins not of the spiced latte variety unless that’s your thing, and fresh kicks for walking around Tribeca and the Lower East Side to check out the amazing exhibitions on view at the galleries right now.
This newsletter focuses on paintings, which required cosmic levels of restraint on my part not to include photographs, my ardent devotion to works on paper, and some astounding sculptural works. We will save those for another newsletter.
I would be over the moon to share further information about each artist, additional works by the artists, or engage in any conversation about your interests in contemporary art.
Lastly, for the past two years it has been a pleasure sourcing and sharing my gallery and art fair finds, and as of January 2024 this newsletter will evolve to a paid subscription only service for a small annual fee. We still have a couple more months of free access into my selections through the end of 2023, and I genuinely hope as many of you as possible will continue this educational and expansive journey into contemporary art with me!
Enjoy the works below! I can’t wait to hear what you think.
